JEFFERSON CITY -- The McCain-Palin campaign announced late Friday afternoon that Sarah Palin would be in Jefferson City Monday for a rally at the State Capitol.

The program is scheduled to begin at 11 a.m. This would mark the first mid-Missouri campaign rally for the GOP ticket. Senator McCain made a brief stop in Columbia earlier this month but did not hold a pubic event.
