About 100 Boonville residents will be subject to a boil advisory starting Thursday.

Crews have to repair a small crack in a six inch water pipe. Water will be shut off for that time, but since they have already started excavating the area, it should only take an hour or two.

The advisory affects E. Morgan Street from Taylor Drive, 8th Street from Morgan to High, 6th Street at High Street, riverside Drive and Pawnee Lane.

After water is turned back on, residents will have a boil advisory for 48 hours.
