Authorities search for burglary suspect

Mark Slavit is the Columbia Bureau chief and the Mid-Missouri Traveler.

Members of the Maries County Sheriff's Office have identified the final suspect in several recent home burglaries as George Edward Puckett, 45.

A judge issued a warrant for Puckett for burglary 2nd degree with a $20,000.00 bond.

Authorities have been unable to locate Puckett.

They are requesting help with locating him.

If you know his location, contact your local law enforcement or the Maries County Sheriff's Office at 573-422-3381.

Investigators believe that Puckett may be in the Springfield or Jefferson City area.
