Missouri Senator Claire McCaskill was on the campaign trail in Columbia as a waitress.
McCaskill stopped by Flat Branch Pub and Brewing to serve some pizza and drinks.
McCaskill said she wanted to be a waitress for a day to remind voters of her personal experience of paying for college and law school, with the help of student loans and by waiting tables.
Flat Branch customer Nancy Wilson thought McCaskill did a great job serving her food and serving the people of Missouri in the United States Senate.
Wilson said, “I think she is outstanding. I think she is exactly what Missouri needs.”
McCaskill is facing Republican challenger Todd Akin on the November 6th ballot.
