Screen icon Tab Hunter and television star Joyce DeWitt are lighting up Arrow Rock’s Lyceum Theatre in an emotional play.

The two celebrities are starring in a play called “Love Letters”.

Dewitt is known for her role as “Janet” in the comedy series “Three’s Company”.

Hunter has played numerous roles throughout his career including his role in the movie “Damn Yankees”.

Both stars are excited about playing for an intimate Mid-Missouri audience.

Dewitt said, “That’s all that we are here for.  It’s what we can give when the people come down and sit in the dark and look where we are in the light and what we are giving.  When you have great material and great friends who care about giving the material, you get a pretty good play.”

Hunter said, “It’s a very simple, but very honest play that’s about two people who are totally different but have a great love for one another.  It takes them through their lives.”

The first performance begins Thursday afternoon at the Lyceum Theatre in Arrow Rock.

The show runs through this Sunday.
