Columbia Police are searching for a bank robbery suspect.

About 4:16pm Friday  a man held up the Boone County National Bank branch at 5614 St. Charles Rd. That's on Columbia's eastside and close to the Lake of the Woods exit to Interstate 70.

There were other customers in the bank when the man handed the teller a note. He did not show a weapon, then took the money and ran off to the east.

Police released a picture of the man who is black, in his late 20's, stands about 6'5", has a slender build, and was last seen wearing a grey/white hat, grey jacket, and blue jeans.

If you have information to help call Columbia Crimestoppers at (573) 875-TIPS.
