If you're looking for methods of saving money, and ways to help the environment at the same time, Columbia College hosted a sustainable living fair on campus Sunday.

Everything from water purifiers,to garden how-to's , and even energy-saving methods were on display for people to look at.

The event hosted a key-note speaker around 1 to talk about sustainable energy.

Mid-Missouri Peaceworks was the organization responsible for getting the even together, event organizers like Mark Haim said they want to make sure everyone knows that they can make a difference.

"Everybody can make a difference. Maybe it's in terms of how much food you grow in your yard. Maybe it's in terms of how you use energy in your home, maybe it's what kind of car you drive, maybe it's carpooling. Just look at all the different choices we have," said Haim.

The event was billed as 'Mid-Missouri's premier sustainability educational event'
