Missouri Department of Transportation is preparing for heavier traffic in Columbia with the upcoming SEC home game.

This is Mizzou's first year in the SEC and many out of states fans might not have visited the Columbia area. In order to prepare for the increased traffic, MoDOT has staff to address emergency traffic and maintenance issues. Crews will also asist Highway Patrol with traffic if needed.

MoDOT's goal for the upcoming Mizzou home games is to welcome guests to the area with clean, clear, and safe routes. To ensure this happens, crews have cleaned up highways and intersections in Missouri.
