Mizzou football player in legal trouble

A University of Missouri football player is in legal trouble.

The Columbia Daily Tribune says police arrested freshman quarterback Maty Mauk on four misdemeanors related to leaving the scene of an accident.

Investigators say Mauk was driving a scooter with passengers when he hit two vehicles, then ran a stop sign to escape police.

He later abandoned the scooter, but turned himself in Thursday morning.
