Business has been buzzing at the lake this year.

Iguana Watersports General Manager, Chad Atkins, said water levels might be lower than they've ever been this time of year, but sales are a different story, "Sales are astronomical and the weather has played a big part in that, being very dry and the nice weather, we've been rented out every weekend.”

He said most of their 200 boat fleet is already booked this weekend.

While the weather might be a little fishy this weekend, he says the crowds will blow in Friday regardless, "This is a very busy weekend for us. This is our last chance to capture those last visitors before going back to school and going back there homes and jobs."

Kernene Shickler owns a real estate rental business.

She told us her business has been off a little.

She loves spending time on the lake, and said even if it rains, you're still at the lake, "No, I think it will be alright, we need the rain so bad, who cares, you know it's still going to be warm.”

And of course there is more than water at the lake.

Restaurants, and shopping outlets will still benefit, "When its raining people won't be out on the lake but so many people go ahead and come down just because we have some shopping malls.

They go out to eat and it's still very enjoyable weekend", said Wendy White at the Lake Area Chamber of Commerce.
