Two men from St. Louis were killed in a car crash in Phelps County yesterday.

At 8:30 yesterday morning Jama Ali was driving his Mustang on I-44, in an area 8 miles west of Rolla.

Highway patrol says he went off the left side of the roadway and hit the back of a tractor trailer driven by 51-year-old Kenneth Carroll's.

Ali and his passenger, 41-year-old , Liban Dirie were pronounced dead at the scene.

Carroll was not injured.
