Boone Co. deputies seek help identifying armed robber

The manager’s office at Green Hills Trailer Park north of Columbia was robbed at gunpoint Wednesday, and CrimeStoppers is offering a reward for information leading to an arrest.

Boone County sheriff’s deputies were called to the trailer park at 7601 North Highway VV shortly before 4 p.m. after the female park manager reported a black male with a cornrows entered the office, displayed a nickel-plated, semi-automatic pistol and demanded cash. The man ran in a westerly direction with a bank bag containing an undisclosed amount of money.

The man is further described as being of medium height and weight, in his late twenties or early thirties and wearing a ragged, sleeveless red T-shirt. He also had a large tattoo on his upper left shoulder.

Anyone with information about this robbery is urged to contact CrimeStoppers at 875-TIPS. All calls are held in strict confidence and you don’t have to give your name to collect a reward.
