It was another hot day in mid-Missouri,
but a local church group decided to brave the weather to help make their community better.

The Mid-Missouri Mission Team, or 3MT, was in Jefferson City today painting a house for a local family.

Teenagers throughout the area help 3MT with mission and charity work from Lebanon to Jefferson City during the day.

D
uring the evening, they gather in a worship group to help share their faith with others.

"We do it to be of service to the homeowners, and to witness to them, and to share our faith, and be liked, in a time that people are struggling," said Jennifer Hudson of 3MT.

3MT has been going on for about six years now, and the group looks forward to helping many more in Missouri.
