The body of Army Spc. Sterling Wyatt was returned to Columbia and his family Thursday. Wyatt was killed last week in Afghanistan when an IED hit his vehicle.

The plane carrying his body landed about 9:00 a.m. Thursday at the Columbia Regional Airport and after a private gathering for the family inside a hangar,  the motorcade traveled north.

The video with this story shows the honor Wyatt received from hundreds of members of the Patriot Guard motorcycle group and from strangers who lined city streets to pay their respects.

The first stop was Wyatt's parents' house where he grew up, then the procession traveled along the Business Loop to Memorial Park Cemetery where he will be buried Saturday.
