Many mid-Missouri students start out the school year without the required school supplies.
KRCG 13 and WalMart are making back to school shopping easier for mid-Missouri families by collecting school supplies for Fulton, Jefferson City, Columbia and Lake of the Ozarks.
The “Pack the Bus” campaign aims to help school children in need.
With your help, every child will return to school, ready to learn with the proper materials.
Donations will be accepted on certain dates from 3:30 to 6:30p.m. at the following Walmart locations:July 23rd: Fulton
July 24th: Jefferson City (East McCarty Location)
July 25th: Osage Beach
July 26th: Columbia (Grindstone Location)
Suggested supplies include:
Back packs
Ball Point pens
Colored markers (large tip-washable)
Colored Pencils
Crayons
Elmer’s Glue
Large erasers
Facial tissue
Glue sticks
Index cards (3 X 5 ruled)
Pencils
Scissors
Spiral notebook
Yellow highlighters
Protractors
Calculators
Rulers
3-Ring binders
School supplies collected in each community support will the children in that area.
