(AP) -- SPRINGFIELD, Mo. (AP) -- A 52-year-old Springfield man has pleaded guilty in the death of his former wife.
The Springfield News-Leader reports that Kelly Kimes has pleaded guilty in Greene County court to second-degree murder and armed criminal action in the death of 47-year-old Kristi Kimes. She was stabbed to death last year while she was in her car in a restaurant parking lot.
The attack was captured on video by the restaurant security cameras.
Kimes had been scheduled to stand trial in August before pleading guilty Friday.
