If you love to read, Saturday was your lucky day.

Columbia public library officials hosted their weekly friends of Columbia Public Libraries book sale.

The book sales are held every Tuesday and Saturday in the Daniel Boone Regional Library lobby, and you can find books of all topic at bargain basement prices.

Volunteers who organize the event say they have a true passion for what they do. Volunteers like Scott Lincoln.

"We're an older crew, and most of us just love books,” said Lincoln.“And so we've been around books all our lives and it's probably meet our obsession and not end up bringing them back home.”

On the first Tuesday of every month, friends of Columbia Regional Library has specially themed sales.

In September, they are planning their grand sale.
