Construction worker killed in highway work zone

A construction worker was killed yesterday in a highway work zone along Interstate 55 near Ste. Genevieve.

The highway patrol says the victim, who has not yet been identified, died after an asphalt truck backed over him yesterday morning while he carrying a highway sign across the highway.
