Teen identifies attacker

Brown has been charged with second degree robbery. His bond is set at $100,000.

Original:

A 19-year-old Jefferson City man was robbed Wednesday afternoon.

He was parked near 200 West Atchison Street when a group approached. The newcomers began threatening and assaulting him for money.

 After the victim described to officers the man who hit him, police were able to find and detain him for identification. He was then arrested for first degree robbery and taken to the police department for questioning.

Aaron D. Brown, 32, of Jefferson City, is being held in the Cole County Jail pending charges with the Cole County Prosecutor's Office.
