A man playing the bongos outside The Blue Note asked passerby for 25 cents. An argument ensued, during which he pulled a knife and threatened to cut them.

The man, identified as Seth Dunkerson, followed them to Shakespeare's pizzeria. Officers made contact with Dunkerson outside the restaurant around 11:30 p.m. Wednesday.

Dunkerson attempted to leave while officers were talking to him. The officers scuffled with him before taking Dunkerson into custody.

Officers found the knife on him, as well as a substance that field tested positive for cocaine in his backpack. Dunkerson also had a scale and pipe.

He was arrested for distribution of a controlled substance, resisting arrest, second degree assault (two counts), unlawful use of a weapon and possession of drug paraphernalia.
