Prosecutors have delayed a case against a Callaway County man charged with felony invasion of privacy.

Edwin Morris of Auxvasse appeared with his attorney at the Callaway County Courthouse on Friday morning and waived his formal reading of charges.

The delay gives prosecutors more time to prepare their case and provide discovery information to the defense.

Authorities said Morris secretly videotaped 4 women who were in various stages of dress in the changing room of his Auxvasse photography studio.

Callaway County Prosecutor Chris Wilson said that the next court appearance for Morris is scheduled for July 13 at 9 a.m.

At that time, Morris could decide whether to accept or waive his preliminary hearing.
