Sheriff investigates baby death

The Cooper County Sheriff's Office is investigating the death of a 2 ½ month old girl.

Emergency crews were called to a house in northeastern Cooper County on Monday morning, for a baby that was not breathing. Emergency responders could not revive the baby and she was declared dead.

An autopsy has been performed, but the results have not been released.
