After 5 hours of deliberation, a jury found a Columbia woman accused of child pornography not guilty.

Kristen Lamb, 20, faced charges of possessing and promoting child pornography on her laptop computer.

A jury found Lamb accidently downloaded the images.

An expert witness testified Lamb is a novice computer operator and could have downloaded the illegal files unknowingly.

Prosecutors said her age and gender could have played a part in the jury’s not guilty verdict.

If found guilty, Lamb could have spent up to 30 years in prison.
