Military heros surround us, some known and some unknown.

Heroic stories and statements of support are flooding our facebook page...

LaTisha Helming reminds us of her local hero, Sgt. Robert Wendell who recieved a bronze star while serving in Afghanistan.

John Hequembourg and his wife's hero is their son Scott, he's a Major after 12 years of service including 4 middle east tours and earning 3 bronze stars and a long list of other honor badges to be proud of.

Sarah Demkowicz says husband is her hero and he's serving in Afghanistan right now. Though he is having to miss out on the first year of his son's life; he was at the birth- via skype!

Soldiers sacrifice themselves and families sacrifice their loved ones, all for our country.

Kellie Gilbert, who spent time away in the National Gaurd has now switched roles with her "hero" husband. "

"He was in the role where he had to stay home and take care of the children and now the role is reversed and I realize how hard it is. "

Kellie has a message for all those serving. "I would just like to say thank you, we are extremely proud of you and we love you."

Jennifer Fife knows what it is like to have a hero for a husband, Seth just returned home after 14 months in Afghanistan and the family is glad to have him home, "Our dad is our hero."

While May is Military appreciation month, Teresa Meyer Mackay posted for us all when she wrote, "Every month should be military appreciation month. They don't just work for us in May."

All of our soldiers today, tomorrow and yesterday are heros.
