COLUMBIA -- Columbia Police are investigating a call for shots fired Monday night.

Officers were dispatched to a shots fired call at 400 N. Providence Road, Douglass Park, at about 6:50 p.m.

When they got to the scene, Officers found several shell casings in the parking lot next to the pavilion and east of the parking lot.

Police said there were people around the pavilion and in the park, but, no one would provide officers with information.

No suspects, witnesses or victims were located.

The Columbia Police Department is asking anyone with information about the shooting to contact them or Crime Stoppers at 875-TIPS to remain anonymous.
