On Saturday afternoon, folks from far and wide gathered to watch the famous 28th annual St. Patrick Day parade at Bagnell Dam Strip.
There were several floats, crazy costumes, and lots and lots of candy being thrown.
Many of the restaurants on the strip were serving up trademark Irish cuisine of corned beef and cabbage, and without question, the green beer was flowing non-stop from the taps.
Some said they came because it was a tradition, other came because of the crowd and the energy. Most kids said it was to satisfy their sweet tooth.
