JEFFERSON CITY -- An Osage County man was sentenced Wednesday after he pleaded guilty operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated.

Noland Stuecken, 34, was originally charged with involuntary manslaughter after police said he was drunk driving a boat when he collided with another on the Osage River near Lisletown.

The collision, which happened on July 3, 2010, killed Norma Sandbothe, 82, of Vienna.

After he pleaded guilty in Cole County Court, Stuecken was put on probation.

He must spend 30 days in jail, complete a victim's impact panel and speak to four boating education classes.
