COLUMBIA, MO. -- A lot of televisions will be tuned to KRCG tomorrow at 3:00 p.m. when the Missouri Basketball Tigers take on the Kansas Jayhawks for the last time as conference foes.

Thousands of viewers are preparing for watch parties in their homes.

Area bars and restaurants are also stocking up for the historic battle of the two Top 5 nationally ranked teams.

Manager’s at Columbia’s Harpo’s Bar and Grill ordered extra food and scheduled extra staff to help satisfy huge crowds.

Harpo’s waitress Mary Sheehan said, “Well considering how big our crowd was for the last MU/KU game, we are planning on having more than enough food.  We have our new barbeque menu.  We are smoking a lot of meat up there on the roof.  We’ll be fully staffed.  We’ll be ready to win.”

The border showdown, between the Missouri and Kansas basketball teams, dates back to 1907.
