University Hospital officials tell KRCG Dallen Rackers, 2, has died.
The toddler from Meta was injured in a car crash last weekend in Jefferson City.

A two year-old boy from Meta is back in critical condition two weeks after he was in a car wreck near Dix Road in Jefferson City. Health officials confirmed his status with KRCG News on Tuesday.
Dallen Rackers was riding with his mother, 30 year-old Stephanie Wiebold, who was driving on U.S 50 West when she hit a rock embankment and wrecked. Rackers was unrestrained in the car. He was treated at a local hospital in Jefferson City, then air-lifted to University Hospital in Columbia, where his status was initially upgraded to “good”.
He is now being held at MU Children's Hospital.
