Columbia Police are looking for the people involved in two separate shots fired incidents.

Wednesday around 4:45 p.m., officers were dispatched to the 5700 block of Redwing Drive for a shots fired call.

Officers recovered several shell casings near 5707 Redwing Drive and in
the 5900 block of Redwing Drive.

Witnesses said two vehicles were seen leaving the area.

No injuries were reported. The investigation continues.

Then shortly before 6:00 p.m. Wednesday, officers were dispatched to the 500 block of Mary in reference to another shots fired call.

Officers said a car was driving south on Woodlawn when 7 to 8 males standing on the east side of the road approached. Police said one of the men in the group fired a round at the vehicle.

Officers found the victim vehicle that was hit in the left rear tire, but no one was injured.

The investigation revealed the shooting occurred on Woodlawn near Hickman Avenue. That’s where officers recovered a shell casing.

No arrests have been made and the investigation is ongoing.

Police said they do not have information that these incidents are related to Monday night’s gunfire incidents.
