The Centertown board of trustees met Monday to discuss enforcement of the town's mobile home ordinance.

The chairman of the Centertown board, Charles Ellis, moved a trailer on to his property in December, and residents want it removed as required by a current ordinance.

Monday, we were at a special closed meeting where board members consulted their attorney on the matter.

About 15 minutes into the meeting they made Ellis leave.

We tried to speak to the board after the meeting but nobody would comment.

Their attorney, and Chairman Ellis himself also turned down our request.

Ellis moved a mobile home on to his property in December.

The ordinance prohibits trailers, defined as any home brought in on wheels.

Another meeting is scheduled for a week from Tuesday.

We'll go back to Centertown to see what the board decides.
