Republican presidential candidate Rick Santorum will be in Mid-Missouri Friday. His stops here come just four days before the state's primary next Tuesday.

Santorum's web site says, after two stops in Hannibal in the morning, Santorum will be in Fulton by 1pm Friday February 3rd. The rally at William Wood University will be at The Dome, the McNutt Campus Center on University Avenue.

From there,  Santorum will go on to Columbia and be joined by conservative leader James Dobson for what is being called "American Heartland: A Conversation on Faith, Freedom and the American Family." That event is at 4pm at Grace Bible Church, 601 Blue Ridge Road.

He ends his Missouri campaign swing Friday with a stop in Lee's Summit.

Santorum was elected to the U.S. House of Representative  in 1990 and served in the U.S. Senate from 1995 to 2007. He has also served as the Senate Republican Conference Chairman.

The campaign stops Friday come after a concern for Santorum's daughter who was recently hospitalized. His 3-year-old daughter, Bella, is home from the hospital after a bout with pneumonia.

Santorum told reporters that his daughter left the hospital on Thursday and is back at her Virginia home. Santorum took a break from campaigning last weekend to rush home to be with his ailing daughter.

Bella Santorum has genetic disorder Trisomy 18, which her father often describes to audiences as "incompatible with life." Any health issues can prove fatal for the youngster.

Santorum canceled his schedule last Sunday, just before Florida had its primary on Tuesday. Santorum decided to pull out of the state to stay home and then focus on upcoming contests in Missouri, Minnesota, Colorado and Nevada.
