We won’t know until Friday what will happen to a Monroe County man convicted of sexually abusing two of his stepsons.
Thomas Ess was in court until after business hours on Thursday for his sentencing hearing. Court officials said the judge’s decision should be available on Friday.

A Paris, Missouri man convicted of sexually abusing two of his stepsons will be sentenced Thursday.
In December, a Monroe County jury found Thomas Ess guilty of statutory sodomy and attempted child molestation.
Court documents indicate the incidents happened in the late '90's.
The victims disclosed that Ess sodomized the older brother hundreds of times when the boy was between 12 and 16 years.
