KANSAS CITY, MO. (AP) -- Police have found 68 pounds of marijuana in the luggage of a woman at the bus station in Kansas City.

The Kansas City Star reported that Jackson County prosecutors charged 57-year-old Veronica C. Johnson of Port Saint Lucie, Fla., with possession with intent to distribute marijuana.

Police estimated that the drugs would be worth about $200,000 on the street.

Johnson was arrested Friday morning after a police dog alerted officers to the presence of drugs in two suitcases on a bus that originated in Los Angeles. The probable cause statement says that when police attempted to question Johnson about the bags, she became "extremely nervous" and began "shaking uncontrollably."

The statement says 41 cellophane-wrapped bundles were found in the two bags. It isn't known if she has an attorney.
