Authorities in the state of California found a
missing Jefferson City teen
late Friday night.
Lindsay Miller and Sergio Sales were found in Riverside, Cali. around 9 p.m. Friday.
The Cole County Sheriff's Office said they were notified Friday that a special agent with the FBI Gang Interdiction Unit found Sales car while running license plates.
Authorities believed Sales took Miller out of the state earlier this month. Sales was taken into custody by members of the Gang Unit in Riverside. Miller was also found in the same time frame.
The Cole County Sheriff's Office said Sales will be returned to Missouri law enforcement. Juvenile authorities are making arrangements to bring Miller back to Missouri so she can be reunited with her family.
Miller's family has been notified that authorities found her.
