The teen involved in a Saturday morning accident in Jefferson City has been upgraded to good condition at University Hospital.
Police said 17-year-old Jeffery Millens not wearing a seatbelt when he crashed into a traffic light around 4:00 a.m.Saturday.

A teenage driver had to be extricated from his car after he crashed into a traffic light support column.
It happened just after 4:00 a.m. Saturday at Jefferson Street and Southwest Boulevard in Jefferson City.
In a news release, Jefferson City Police said 17-year-old Jeffery Millens was driving westbound on Highway 54 in his Honda Civic when he took the exit onto Southwest Blvd.
The release said Millens tried to make a right turn onto Southwest Blvd and was driving too fast to make the turn.
Millens crossed the southbound lanes of Southwest Blvd. and ran off the road hitting a traffic light support column.
After emergency responders extricated the teen he was taken to Capital Region Hospital for treatment and eventually transferred by ambulance to University Hospital in Columbia.
Millens was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash.
Members of the Jefferson City Police Department Traffic Unit are investigating the crash.
