Columbia Police have arrested three people after finding two of the suspects in a stolen vehicle that contained forged checks.

Police say the three are also suspected of several thefts from vehicles in recent weeks.

James Miller, 33, was arrested on suspicion of forgery, felony stealing and possession of forgery instruments.

James Edwards, 40, was arrested on suspicion of forgery.

Chrystal Shimek, 28, was arrested on suspicion of tampering and possession of forgery instruments.
