(AP) -- State agriculture officials have ordered a western Missouri meat company to stop processing meat.

The Agriculture Department says inspectors found records indicating Alma Meats sold meat that was improperly handled and not inspected. State officials say 320 pounds of meat has been recalled, including summer sausage, snack sticks, beef jerky and roast pork. People who purchased products prepared from Nov. 14 to Nov. 23 should return them.

A message left Thursday at Alma Meats was not immediately returned.

Agriculture officials say records indicate some of the meat products were sold to Trinity Lutheran School in Alma. Officials from the state agriculture and health departments still are investigating.
