On Saturday, December 17, 2011, about 05:51am, Moberly Police were dispatched to a possible injury accident in the 1300 block of E US 24.

The accident occurred as a 2001 Lincoln Towncar, driven by Donald G Ragsdale, age 78 from Paris, was westbound on US 24 and collided with a 2005 Mack Semi-Tractor Trailer, driven by Robert R Cooney, age 57 from Plainfield, IL, that was making a right turn into a private drive, after it also had been traveling westbound on US 24.
