(AP) -- Two men are charged in the stabbing death of a southwest Missouri teenager.

Douglas County authorities on Friday charged 29-year-old Christopher Jorgensen of Ava and 26-year-old Nathan Jensen of Seymour with first-degree murder, armed criminal action and abandonment of a corpse.

Douglas County authorities allege the two killed 17-year-old Kenny Stout of Republic, whose body was found Thursday near Ava.

Authorities believe Jorgensen left Stout in the woods after beating him Tuesday. Jorgensen then allegedly returned to the site, found Stout still alive, and stabbed him to death.

KY3-TV reports that it was not immediately clear how Jensen might have been involved in the death.
