A Syracuse, Missouri woman is dead after her car hit a deer in Morgan County.

The Highway Patrol said around 6:40 Monday morning, 53-year-old Regina Pipes was driving along U.S. 50, just west of Potter's Ford Road, when she hit a deer in the road. Troopers said the deer came through the front windshield and exited through the back window.

Pipes was pronounced dead at the scene.
