A fight with a knife sent about a dozen Cole County Sheriff's deputies racing to an Apache Flats neighborhood Wednesday afternoon.

The fight, between a father and his step-son, spilled over into the street in front of their home on Veil of Tears Drive.

911 dispatchers were told that heroin was involved and that the step-son was wielding a kitchen knife.

Deputies arrived and quickly arrested the step-son, Jonathon Williams.

The step father was treated for some minor injuries.

Detectives are still trying to sort things out.

But did tell us that Williams was arrested Wednesday for an outstanding warrant for violating his probation.
