Police search for theft suspects

MU Police are investigating a recent theft and need the public's help.

Police were told that a purse was stolen from a patient at Columbia Regional Hospital on June 14. The purse had a personal debit card in it.

According to police, the suspects attempted to use the card at Walmart and the Breaktime on Conley Ave. Transactions were denied.

The suspects are described as a dark-skinned male, who is possible hispanic in his late teens to early twenties. He was seen wearing a light brown or gray shirt, black ball cap and a gold-colored chain.

The other suspect is described as a heavy set white female, with light brown hair who was seen wearing a multicolored shirt with tattoos on both arms.

They are expected to be driving a four-door white Ford Taurus with bumper stickers on both sides of the rear bumper.

Anyone with any information is requested to call Detective Sam Easley at (573) 884-3721, or CRIME STOPPERS at (573) 875-8477. Individuals may also submit tips on-line at 875tips.com. You do not have to give your name and may be eligible for a reward of up to $1,500 if your information leads to an arrest.
