WWII aircraft to arrive in Jefferson City

If you're into World War II aircraft you'll want to be in Jefferson City this week.

Two of the most famous World War II bombers and a fighter aircraft will be on display Monday through Wednesday at the Jefferson City Airport.

It's called the "Wings of Freedom Tour".

A vintage "B-17 Bomber" along with a "Consolidated B-24 Liberator", and a "North American P-51 Mustang" will be on display.

Admission is $12 for adults, $6 for kids.

The event opens at 2 p.m Monday and goes until 5 p.m.

It's open from 9 a.m to 5 p.m Tuesday and Wednesday.
