Dangerous heat continues to plague Mid-Missouri as all of our counties are either under a Heat Advisory or Excessive Heat Warning until 7:00 p.m. Tuesday.

While temperatures look to be the highest of the year Monday, the combination of the hot temperatures and high humidity values will lead to dangerous heat indices ranging from 110-115.

Conditions such as these can cause sunstroke, muscle cramps and heat exhaustion.  Use caution when you're outside in the heat.  Drink plenty of fluids and keep an eye on the elderly, kids and pets.
