BRANSON, MO. -- A Columbia couple is dead Sunday after drowning in a Branson hotel swimming pool.
The Branson Police Department said the bodies were found in the Days Inn Pool early Sunday morning.
The Kansas City Star reported friends told police the couple went to the pool around 9:45 p.m. Saturday.
Police said the cause of the drowning is unknown but that there is no sign of foul play.
Police released the names of the couple on Monday. Fanjun Meng and his wife, Chunyang Zhang were the two found in the pool early Sunday morning.
