The Missouri River is expected to hit 28 feet on Sunday.

Currently the river is at 27 feet at Jefferson City. That's moderate flood level.

In other areas of Mid-Missouri, like Glasgow, major flooding is expected by Saturday.

Highway 179 and the Katy Trail have already been closed due to high waters and officials are prepared to close Hwy 100 near Chamois and Hwy 94 near Portland if the water rises more.
