The State Highways and Transportation Commission will take up a proposal Wednesday to reduce MODoT's staffing, facilities and equipment.

It's an effort to put more funding toward vital road and bridge projects.

MODoT director Kevin Keith will present the department's proposed five-year plan.

The commission is expected to deliberate on the plan after another public presentation.

The meeting will be streamed live on the Internet at www.modot.org/livevideostream. The live streaming will stop when the commission adjourns and will resume when the meeting starts again
