Target re-opens after natural gas line was hit

Target in Jefferson City is back in business after an employee struck a natural gas line.

JEFFERSON CITY, MO. --  

The line was connected to a heater in the back of the stores storage area.

 

All of the employees and shoppers in the store were evacuated.

 

Ameren UE was on the scene along with Jefferson City's Fire Department.

 

Monitors brought into the store by Ameren UE showed the air was in good quality.
