Deputies testify in triple homicide case

Update: April 22 at 3:55 p.m.:

Judge Carol England found probable cause to continue a triple homicide case against Josh Maylee in court on Friday.

An arraignment was set for May 2.

Original Story:

A preliminary hearing for triple murder suspect happened at the Callaway County Courthouse on Friday.

Josh Maylee is accused of killing Eugene and Jackie Pinet and Jeffrey Werdehausen in October.

Maylee is sitting in the courtroom listening to the testimony by law enforcement officers during his hearing. Investigators described the gruesome murder scenes to Judge Carol England. 

As family members of the victims shed tears while reliving that day.

Prosecutors are using the testimony to build their case against Maylee. Defense attorneys are trying to protect their client.
